OCC Eyecare

 I had delt with OCC Eyecare 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience. This time I will not be back. I had went though my insurance provider and had double vision where I needed glasses to see. I was in on the 8th of January and they sent the qoute in for new glasses. Soon after they had called me and let me know that I was approved for my check up but not my glasses. When I called my provider they said there paper did not have the prism value for my double vision on it so that is why I was denied.   They said they would have approved it of the correct information was provided, the same as it was 3 years ago. So I called back to OCC Eyecare and spoke with Olga (I believe that was her name) and she was short and very rude, basically wanted to get me off the phone. She advised she would resend it in. Called my provider the next week and still nothing... they advised me to call OCC Eyecare and double check. I called back and they advised me that yes my prescription has been denied on the 8th and I would need to pay for the glasses. I explained to OCC Eyecare that u know they had denied and that they were suppose to send the prescription in a second time with the prism value on it as my provider has already stated they would be approved. OCC Eyecare then advised me that they indeed had sent the prescription  in. Now 22 days later I called OCC Eyecare and asked them what was happening and they advised me they had sent a second prescription and hear nothing back. I called my provided and they advised me that indeed they still have not recieved anything. I phoned back to OCC Eyecare and asked Tiffany who I had spoken with earlier what was going on. She says that she read the notes and had indeed sent it in. I advised her that nooooooo nothing has been sent in my provider looked through all the paperwork and made sure they had not recieved it. Then being upset I asked would it be easier to go some here else, thinking they might do due dilagince and send the paper work in and she advised me that yes just go somewhere else  they can send me the prescription, ((which I already had)). I guess unless you are paying with cash or credit card and not another insurance company you will not see a pair of glasses. Terrible terrible terrible. Not my first one visit, but deffinatly my last.
